David Rosenwasser is an architectural researcher, business owner, and startup co-founder. He is Founder and President of D ROSE MOD, a vintage modern design business specializing in 20th century modernism (see www.drosemod.com). He is also Co-Founder of Rarify (www.rarify.co), an e-commerce design brand and digital gallery, alongside business partner Jeremy Bilotti. Rosenwasser was previously Senior Research Personnel in the Sabin Design Lab at Cornell University. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell, Master in Design Studies in Technology from Harvard’s GSD, and is a Hunter R. Rawlings III Presidential Research Scholar. Rosenwasser’s research with the Sabin Lab focused largely on ceramic 3D printing and robotic fabrication. That work has been exhibited at the Centre Pompidou, the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum, National Centre for Visual Arts of France, and San Jose Museum of Art. Rosenwasser has published extensively, including peer-reviewed papers for ACADIA (2017, 2018), the International Journal of Rapid Manufacturing (2018), ECAADE (2020), and International Journal of Architectural Computing (2021).
